Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director writer, producer, and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. As a child, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna moved to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December the same year, and they then renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton on April 11, 2011.
