Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to the One Direction band. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There, with three other students, he founded his musical group, White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. He always showed an interest in music but wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. To support the family he spent an hour or so working at a bakery. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a new band called One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group. They were first formed in 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Cowell, and they sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the top contenders in the competition. However they were placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell did not take home the prize. But Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
