Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu was born in the United States. Liu is an American singer, actress and voice actor. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. An early string of success roles in a popular TV show resulted in her being well-known for her part in the character on Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. In the wake of her success, she landed major roles on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii as Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, she also starred in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. For animated films such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell and many others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a small role that failed to have any impact. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish her status as a well-known actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully in order to ensure she is not stereotyped in an industry with a lot of competition. Although she is extremely proud of her culture however, she is not letting it limit her imagination.
